Online Registration of Programme, Fee Payments and uploading of documents on IIT Mandi SAMARTH portal (Process flow, etc. for uploading details/documents on SAMARTH will be shared separately via email/website). Date of registration in the programme will be considered as 1st August, 2026	24th July, 2026 to 30th July, 2026 If registration is not completed or fee is not paid by 30th July, 2026, allotted seat will be automatically cancelled

Fee Concession Instructions

As per the norms, based on the Family Income, the eligible students (UR/Gen (EWS)/OBC(NCL)) may avail below concession:

1. The most economically backward students (whose family income is less than ₹1 lakh per annum) shall get full remission of tuition fee.

2. The other economically backward students (whose family income is between ₹1 lakh to ₹5 lakh per annum) shall get remission of 2/3rd of tuition fee.

3. For availing above fee concession, please submit valid family income certificate issued by the authorized officials in Revenue Deptt./DC/SDM/Tehsildar, etc. (issued on or after 1st April, 2026) alongwith the notarized Affidavit.

4. The family income certificate and affidavit should be submitted on the SAMARTH portal while making remaining payment and/or updating the fee details.

5. If income certificate and affidavit are not submitted during the above-mentioned duration, no fee concession will be permitted and the student shall pay full fee (except SC/ST/PwD candidates).

After freezing your seat at IIT Mandi, you have to pay the fees via online mode. The link will be shared/activated tentatively on 24th July, 2026.

LIST OF DOCUMENTS TO BE UPLOADED DURING ONLINE REGISTRATION ON PORTAL

(Self-attested copies alongwith original document shall require during physical document verification)

1. Class X Board Certificate or other document submitted at JoSAA portal for DOB proof.
2. Class XII mark sheets and passing certificate.
3. Medical Fitness Certificate submitted at JoSAA portal.
4. Admit card of JEE (Advanced) 2026 Examination.
5. Provisional Offer and Seat Acceptance Letter issued by JoSAA.
6. Two passport size photographs.
7. Copy of Aadhar Card/Any document issued by the Government regarding address proof (if copy of Aadhar is not available).
8. Proof of payment made at the time of seat allocation to JoSAA.
9. Proof of payment of remaining fee paid to IIT Mandi.
10. Category certificate (OBC (NCL)/Gen-EWS/SC/ST/PwD/DS submitted at JoSAA portal).
11. In case of OBC-NCL/GEN-EWS category, the certificate must be issued on or after April 01, 2026.
12. Family Income Certificate to claim Fee Concession/Scholarship. The certificate must be issued on or after April 01, 2026.
13. Affidavit to avail Fee concession/scholarship.
    Note: In absence of documents at Sr. No. 12 & 13, candidate has to pay full fee (as applicable to candidate having family income above ₹5.00 Lakhs).
14. Copy of Passport, VISA (in case of OCI/PIO/NRI/Foreign Nationals).
